“Is it possible to create a custom pair of earrings not only inspired by the mesmerizing glaciers in New Zealand, but incorporating ‘something new and something blue’, as well as drawing inspiration from a dear friend's wedding dress, while trying not to drop any hints or blow any surprises? Well, yes, it is!” – Kristen
When Kristen received a phone call from a soon-to-be mother-in-law of her dear friend, she knew she had to make something truly special. After all, It’s not everyday that a girlfriend gets to be transported to the top of a glacier in New Zealand to get married, all while wearing the most stunning wedding dress, accompanied by a gorgeous (and warm) wrap. Kristen knew these earrings had to have the "wow factor".
At the top, Kristen went with a clean triangular “glacier” form, resembling the crisp, clean lines of the wedding dress. Inlaid in the triangle shape of Kristen’s signature-patterned silver, are the “ice crystals” that reflect the lace used in the dress.
Gracefully cascading down are dramatic diamond-cut chains, sprinkled with blue and white topaz gemstones, perfectly catching rays of light at every turn. For a final touch, at the top of the triangular “glaciers”, sits a larger blue topaz gem, signifying the place of the glacier where the happy couple will say their “I do’s”.
These earrings are full of sentiment, movement and without a doubt will make the perfect accessory for this “Glacier Bride” on her special day.

Kristen is truly an artist! When I contacted her to describe my idea she asked all the right questions to insure this special gift was perfect! She sent me three designs that were all stunning and it was really difficult to make the final decision…but with her expert advice I think we made a fantastic choice! Not only are the earrings absolutly gorgeous but they “tell” a beautiful story of Donna and Clint’s wedding day! Thank you Kristen for capturing this once in a lifetime memory!
